$3 big ones says I will train to be a large division 1 coach, if it doesn’t work I just take off when the heat becomes unbearable. Let’s hope he can produce quickly, but I feel some of y’all want to give him three years without any defined goals. That is not good management.
I root for the name on the front, the University of Florida, not the names on the back. The long term health of the program is always the most important thing.
Are the people who rooted for the Gators to lose any different then those now cheering MW on at Georgia to hurt the Gators?
I am not sure if we do. I don’t think people quite grasp how difficult next season MAY be. It’s hard to imagine sunshine when you’re in the middle of a storm.
I like this. Your a fan of the Gators if you don't like the coach still pull for the team. Best post I've seen in awhile
Back to the original topic, We already knew that next season was going to be shaky. Coach Golden will just have to hit the portal hard and try to fill in the many gaps on our team.
I hate when fla plays bad in all sports. I don't understand when people seem to pull against them because of the coach. Have not like a few coaches but have never hope we lost so they fired them. White did much better at last stop then Golden hope that means nothing Tampa said at least Golden can coach yet White did better he looked liked the better coach side by side. But will be saying we got the best coach in SEC what's scary will be straight.
Wake up. It’s a real quandary in the situation the Gators were in whether to root for them to make it into a play-in game, in which case they likely would not make it out of the 1st week of the tournament and Mike White would come back for another year of the same stuff. As it turned out, they didn’t make it in, they got bounced out of the NIT, Mike White is gone, and Todd Golden is our new coach. IMO, that is the better result. I was hoping that Anthony Grant would get the Gator job, but Golden looks to be a solid hire, and I will be rooting like hell for him and the team (while also following Ques Glover’s career).
It seems to me that he is best off staying and graduating from UF. If he is then unhappy with his situation at UF, he could be a grad transfer and would not have to sit out a year. We will see.
