Reeves in Portal (Update: Apparently Changed His Mind)

Probably heard what CC got and said “Pay up.” Tank Bigsby did that at Auburn but ended up staying.

On a personal note, I know these guys need to be compensated but all of this will ruin the Goose that lays the Golden egg. And the NCAA and Emmert are wholly incompetent, corrupt and clueless. They represent the absolute worst aspects of the IRS, DMV and USPS.

Yeah . . . I was gonna' say basically what you did @reaves2alvarez . . . Kowacie hears about the CC deal and wants a better one now that we're at basically 1-year free agency.

He (Kowacie) deserves it but I just hope he isn't getting bad advice. CC's is based on performance and Kowacie's would be based more on potential, although he did come on strong towards the end of the season.

 

Probably saw what CC got & decided to get paid as well. The problem is that he has potential but CC is a proven player. College athletics is becoming a sh!^ show.

 

And not sure how much we paid Fudge to transfer here.

 

Cant blame him. He needs to be closer to a big city where he can see better hair stylists

 

I don't begrudge the kid for trying, but if he couldn't get "NIL" money based on what he did last year, what's he expecting?

 

I kinda like that foghorn leghorn look.

 

Had a feeling he was gone ! Hate losing him but there will be more and more

Very disappointing from a fan's perspective, but it's his decision, not ours. I'll pull for guys that want to be Gators!

 

I think he’ll be back unless he gets an offer he can’t refuse.

 

What did CC get?

 

Perhaps he is leaving due to CC coming back? Perhaps he felt he would be the featured player next year?
