The Gators offered to 2024 Texas QB D J Lagway after the 6-2 21 visited UF the last weekend. Extremely talented with a strong arm andthe ability to extend plays with his legs

2023 OL Bryce Lovett from Rockledge visited UF for the second time in 2022 this pass Saturday and would like to be back to UF in the Spring for the third time. Lovett who is very interested in UF claims that there are 6 coaches in charge of the OL development not including an individual weight coach. It looks like Iowa St, Missouri, Arkansas and Louisville are UF main competetion.

Blue chip WR Daquayvious Sorey has UF in his top 5. The 6-2 185 visited UF over the last weekend and came away impressed after not been to UF in quite some time. He claimed that the visit was great and its building a relationship with the whole new staff. By the way Daquayviou's cousin is on Napier's staff.

2023 4* OT Monroe Freeling came away impressed with nearly every facet of the Gators new and improved football program and culture after his visit to UF last weekend and meeting OL coaches Sale and Stapleton. Freeling came away impressed with what UF has to offer off the field as well. However the Gators has some ground to make up in his recruitment.

Ft Lauderdale Dillard Antoine Jackson ranked the #6 CB and #43 overall prospect for the 2023 class has committed to Georgia. His uncle Dwayne Wimbley played basketball at UM in the early 1990's. There is a lot talk that EJ Jones destination is going to be Arizona St.

UGA got three of the top CBs last year. Any more and they will transfer or sit.

Alabama's DL Keldric Faulk claims that UF are one of his top schools after visiting the Gators over the March 18-20 weekend. It seems like he has a good report with Gator coaches Patrick Toney and Sean Spencer. The 6-5 240 is being recruited as a DE/outside LB. Faulk is considering Alabama, Oklahoma, Auburn, FSU and perhaps Ole Miss besides UF.

2024 Gainesville HS QB Shammon "Shooby" Coleman had a unofficial visit to UF on Tuesday and came away as a fan of the offense the Gators are deploying. Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville Fla RB Treyuan Webb has trim down his list of schools he is looking at to 5, which are UF Penn St, Tennessee, Baylor and South Carolina. By the way Treyuan is a cousin of former Gator CB Dee Webb.

This isn't recruiting related, but Gators related, Gervon Dexter says that Desmond Watson has been benching 560 LBs.

Who would we want more, Webb or Baxter? They seem to be similar backs. I'd like to see at least one burner at RB.

Who would we want as a breakaway threat? Some of BN's formations set up perfectly for speedy backs. Thought Webb would fit the part but was surprised how many times got run down from behind in his clips.

Gators made the top 7 for star CB Tony Mitchell along Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, Clemson and Oregon. Mitchell hasn't set a date for his commitment and his next visit will be to Texas A&M. The Gators hosted Georgia's 2023 QB Dylan Lonergan this weekend. Lonergan who also plays baseball its consider a elite Pitcher (by the way the Gators 2022 baseball team only has 1 pitcher) is also considering Alabama and Ohio St.

The Gators has reoffered to Dallas Texas CB Malik Muhammad. Malik the #6 ranked CB in the 2023 class played at IMG academy in his sophomore season, but since has gone back to Texas and it has been recruited by Corey Raymond and Joe Hamilton its hoping to make a decision by the Summer among Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, Miami, Notre Dame and UF. However he hasn't been to UF yet.
