That reminds me of another song. I met you at JC Penney. Your name tag said Jenny... I want to get with you, oh yeah, and your sister, I think her name's Debra!!
I'd be good with him as the second QB in this class. Any other QBs of note besides Manning, Moore and Vizzina?
4* WR Hykeem Williams from Ft lauderdale who visited the Gators last Friday, played for a state championship of basketball on Saturday and them visited FSU Sunday. In addition to UF and FSU are also looking at Georgia, Alabama and Teas A&M doesn't expect to make a decision until December.
Hoping for him the Gators still have room by December but we could have a great WR class without him.
In a interview 4*RB Treyaun Webb was quoted in saying the following Things are heating up with me and UF, its close to home and why not play in front of your family and represent your state. Why not the university of Florida. 4* OL Payton Kirkland and 4*s DL Derrick LeBlanc and Malik Bryant are hinting that they are a package deal. Like its well known all 3 of them will be making their college choice on July 23th.
4* Miami Northwestern WR Andy Jean who's committed to UM spend last weekend to get to know the Gators staff. Its believe that the Napier staff its making a move to get the Miami star.
Top ten RB. Listed as an all purpose RB. But already listed above 200lbs. To me that is a big deal. I do not get excited about 185 APRBs. Would he deter the other big RBs we hope to land one of?
I noticed some of the better programs already have handful committed for 2023. Is it unreasonable to expect some commits over the summer, or no because of a combination of players watching what we do this fall and our staff really still recruiting hard and trying to sort it out?
I’d think if we don’t have somewhere near half our class before the season starts, that’s not a good sign.
More of a base of good players, leaving room for the top targets that likely wait to commit? Is anyone expecting Cristobal and his new staff to land a monster class? There was something posted a while back that showed a slew of top Florida/South Florida players leaning to scUM, all but CB'd.
There’s big money involved now. The teams with the bigger payrolls are going to gobble up the talent. I’m not as concerned about guys that wait till the end and play games. I’m more concerned with knowing we are financially committed. If we have the cash. Napier will get it done.
i would expect them to have a good to great class. He’s a good recruiter and ain’t hard to win in ACC. Outside of Mike Norvell, most coaches have a good bump class. all those CBs you saw were from one mod at 247 sports canes sight with a 1 confidence (out of 10). Most of those players have no other CBs yet so due to one homer and his weak CBs the recruits show as 100% predicted to Miami.
5* CB Cormani Mc Clain from Lake Gibson, the #1 player in Florida and #4 for the 2023 class will be at UF net weekend (the March 19) for multiple days. Its believed that the Gators leads for McClain despite both Alabama and Georgia recruiting the CB hard. Napier has said that he wants to lock down the State by drawing a circle with a 4.5 radious around Gainesville that his staff will prioritize. Ideally most of the recruiting classes should hail from that region that extends South just short of Miami and North just shy of Atlanta as well as reaching as far West as Pensacola.
Watched his HUDL clips yesterday. He's definitely a power back. Plays bigger than 205. He's got a nice burst for the first five or ten yards, breaks a lot of arm tackles. Not great long speed. He busted quite a few long runs but got run down from behind a few times. Was on his way to a 99 yard TD run and got tackled at the other one yard line. Then again, he's playing against Florida born defenders.
