A coach who actually knows how important recruiting is and recruits year round. Who would’ve thunk it? There are so many built-in advantages to recruiting at UF…you’ve just got to make an effort.
Could they, or maybe one or two others, be part of a last big splash for recruiting just before the start of the season? Talk about a shot of adrenalin going into the first game of a new era! This whole deal is beginning to feel like the tide has turned for the program and that the renewed excitement and newfound confidence are justified and reasonable. I'm more excited than I've been for a very long time. Go Gators!
So true. Slowish start, insane two weeks. This staff is not playing games. Looking forward to one more DL(?), a LB, two OTs, and Dijon to finish this DB class. Man!!! But what's our max number.... are we still estimating blind? Will CBN borrow a page from bummer and gray shirt even?
Penn State really had it going this cycle, until they didn't. Is this significant because he likely flips to Bama or ??? '
Stop negative recruiting against the Gators... ... Graham said his connection with inside linebackers coach Jay Bateman was a primary factor in his decision to pledge to Florida before the start of his junior season at Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. "He drew me in a lot," he said of Bateman. "He's a great coach and a really constructive coach. I love the way he coaches and he's a great recruiter as well. He didn't just recruit me, he made sure he was like another role model for me in my life. He's a great dude and a great man."
Looks like CBN and his staff and recruit analysts have done a great job selecting and getting recruits to commit. I’m sure they will continue doing that same great job until the whole class is signed. Thanks to the players and the recruits who have committed so far for their active recruiting of others to be a part of Florida Gators Football. Together they are building the team. Awesome job guys. Thank you and keep it up. Go Gators!
Is it true we finally got out sh*t together on the NIL front and the boosters are starting to open up the checkbooks?
Bateman is a very good coach and has a great understanding of the game. Think it takes him longer to develop relationships with HS kids, which put him at a disadvantage initially, but When he has a year or two to get to know you the kids and their families know he is a real trusting and caring coach in it to help them succeed.
That was never a real "issue". Funds are not unlimited, and they won't overpay on guys like Reshada and Baxter....but resources have been used all along.
Yea. It looks to me like they’re trying to create solid depth all along the roster instead of having the depth chart top heavy at each position. Creating a solid foundation.. i know it looked like we were losing a lot of battles early. Which i guess technically we did. But as of right now I’m not mad at what their strategy seems to be. I like this class.
