According to Braden Keith and a source North Carolina, FSU, Clemson and Virginia (not Miami) are all negotiating to Join the SEC.ESPN is trying to void their TV deal with the ACC.
I agree, but that is what Texas A&M said about Texas and I’m sure South Carolina is saying about Clemson. So not sure if it matters we don’t want them.
Agree - you'd think the Miami market would be enticing to the SEC. I wonder if it is a private school issue. Even if fsu were a perennial cellar dweller I wouldn't like seeing them wear an SEC logo.
Don't know if this has been posted, Gators made the top 7 cut for IMG 5* athlete Samuel M'Pemba. M'Pemba is the #3 player in 2023 class, however On3 isn't on their top 100 and both ESPN and 247 its ranked as their #30 player. Notre Dame (not out of the batltle) were once the leader, but things have changed in recent months and now its a battle of Southern programs among Georgia. Miami, Alabama, Tennessee, UF, with Oregon also looking in.
As I recall, Bobby didn't much like the idea of playing in a conference that wasn't tailor made for winning easy championships. Of course, they can't even win in the ACC anymore. What in the world would they expect to achieve in the murder's row of the modern SEC.? I mean, beside collecting a lot of dough they have no business getting their grubby little hands on.
Lol...they might not know how cheesy fsu is..ugh..that ketsup and mustard..looks like a hot dog..lol..as you can see..I don't like them very much
maybe. But per their fan sites last week they claim to only have a great shot with 3 high rated players left on their board. Faulk, who chose fsu, Simmons, who chooses Monday, and I think a DB, Stuart, that just committed to UK. After that, at least for now, they aren’t the favorite/ in the mix for any other high end players. though things change every day.
There are 2 types of fsu committs: 1. Those who fell under a nole spell when they were young and dumb. 2. The young and dumb.
Vandy vs FSU every year would be pretty funny though. You know Vandy will win that more than they should
