Recruiting the 2023 football class.

Good observations. I, too, am in wait and see mode. However, comparing Saban, Myer, and Smarts second class to CBN's is apples and oranges. All three of them didnt have to do it in a completely uncharted environment (NIL) where evaluation , relationship, persuasiveness, and salesmanship are almost entirely nullified by cash....

How would those guys have done in their first full recruiting cycle at a new school, under these circumstances? Saban... maybe decent considering his LSU accumen. Smart... not sure? Meyer... not sure either?

 

That would be a great core to build on if we got them and got them soon (unlikely), but I am not even sure that LeBlanc is any kind of lean to us now, or John Walker or Ja'Keem Jackson, though I would love all of them.

 

He will feel right at home there because he will have as many Florida recruits around him as we currently have in our class.

No way!! Kid i really wanted in this class and a good linebacker. Can’t be losing Jacksonville kids to Penn State and South Carolina.

 

Shane Beamer did just tweet that he just got out of an interesting meeting. Sounds like we are about to find out where actually stand this week. Not looking good though.

 

Missing on Howard would be beyond a miss.

 

Just add it to the list. Probably not going to land any of the Jacksonville kids or Polk county.

Which would negate the rumor that his daddy laughed at our offer.
