Lagway probably got us to 3rd, not overcoming the money.

Amazing to me Hartline has not been offered a HCing job anywhere with that resume. Played in NFL and consistent NFL pipeline of first round draft choices. 5 star recruiting efforts.

Shorter is playing TE in Las Vegas. There’s a great idea. He was too slow in college but had the same build as Pitts. If only his coach could have seen that.

At least a few posters suggested it, including myself. Coaches get tumnel vision it seems.

I'm sure he has his opportunities to go to smaller schools but being a position coach and a head coach is two totally different worlds. Heartline can't even get the OC job. Dan Mullen is a great OC and a horrible head coach. Coaching chops and being a CEO is totally different. Hatline may end up being a great head coach, but there's absolutely zero to go on. He is making good money and maybe he doesn't even wanna deal with the bullshit

Would have been nice to have him. But if we ever have to face him, we can just defense him the way Texas did and hold him to two yards.

Dan Mullen is the best coach in MSU history and the best one we have had post Urban. He leaves some things to be desired as a Head Coach but “horrible” is not true. Come on man.
