Conservatives in the UK implement Brexit while Biden implements Bidenomics. I wonder if Joe can pitch in and handle both economies to help out our friends?

Compared to the rest of the industrialized world, our economy is doing well. Does that mean there aren't challenges? Of course not. Granted that Trump and the gop want the economy to crash before November as it will help them at the ballot box.

Perhaps they should have changed the definition of recession so as to avoid one.

Japan's recession is due to its increasingly lower population. Japan is slowly dying, one day will no longer exist unless the Gen Zs start having sex again. Clock is ticking.

The value of immigration to balance population decline, as in the US. .New census projections show immigration is essential to the growth and vitality of a more diverse US population | Brookings

Although the immigration debate is focused on the southern border, we need healthy immigration for future growth.

Another wrinkle - outside the Muslim world, there is a yawning and growing ideological gap between young women and young men affecting growth and economy …

Unlike the U.S., countries like Japan actually value their culture and way of life. I applaud them for that and am glad they haven't destroyed their culture via mass immigration.

I love Japanese culture and consider myself to really be more like the average Japanese person than the average American person. But I understand that I will never be ethnically Japanese.

I would say Japan should open up their borders slightly to those non-Japanese who marry Japanese citizens and move to Japan or those non-Japanese who agree to assimilate into the culture and become, obviously not ethnically Japanese, but at least culturally Japanese. How that would happen I don't know but it would be one way to help the population decline.

Here is a video I find fascinating. I was sad she is thinking of moving to the US as I think that will be a mistake for her. I think half Japanese like the people in this video (and keeping them in Japan or attracting half Japanese back to Japan) would greatly help with their population challenges:

I see this as a huge problem coming up and have seen it personally. Yes there are plenty of young men who are Liberal but the majority are still Conservative or Moderate. And while there are a small percentage (usually religious) of young women who are Conservative/Moderate, the overwhelming majority are Liberal.

As the two sides become more extreme, dating will become extremely difficult.

For an example, for me as a Conservative Man, it would absolutely be a deal breaker to date a woman who was an Atheist. I'm okay with a woman who believes in God but isn't particularly religious, I'm pretty much a 2 time a year Catholic myself. But dating someone who absolutely doesn't believe in God would be an absolute deal breaker for me. And for more and more Liberal women them dating a man who believes in God would also be a deal breaker.

Most Liberal Women absolutely believe that a Conservative Man like myself is evil incarnate. It's pretty hard to date a woman who thinks that you are the cause of all evil in the U.S., or in the very least is a very big part of the problem. I'm sure it is for most Conservative or Moderate Men. I also believe that the Liberal extreme does not value life, in various ways, and I couldn't date someone who doesn't value life.

IMO long term Liberal Western Women are going to find out the hard way that Men aren't interested in dating women who hate them, who constantly want to challenge them (everything being a competition instead of working together as a team which is what dating/marriage is supposed to be) and who just are filled with a lot of anger.

For me I would absolutely date an Eastern European woman, an Asian woman or even a Hispanic woman over the vast majority of Western women.

That's an opinion and not a fact by any measurable metric. Sure the U.S. is the biggest economy but that doesn't mean it's the greatest nation on Earth.

Years ago I would've agreed with you but I no longer agree that the U.S. is the greatest nation on Earth. I absolutely believe Japan as well as South Korea and some European countries have superior cultures to the U.S. My opinion is that Japan overall is the greatest nation on Earth.

I know I could genuinely never be a part of that culture not being ethnically Japanese but it's a culture I genuinely love and appreciate.

And before you say what I know you're about to say, no I'm not leaving the U.S. Family alone prevents me from leaving the U.S. Whenever my parents are no longer on this Earth though and up with God in Heaven though I will most likely seriously consider leaving the U.S. Heck with the way cost of living is going up if the U.S. dollar stays strong leaving the U.S. might be the only way myself and a lot my generation will actually be able to retire.
