Found this interesting. Author basically says race is a social construct but it’s reallllllly important people don’t try to change their Race. JMHO, but Some mental gymnastics in there. Hard to rationale that it’s not ok to change your race which you could argue is not genetic based on 23me etc, but is ok to ‘change’ XY

Inside the online world of people who think they can change their race

Not surprising. I have a friend whose son ‘became’ his daughter. When I asked if there had been any surgical lopping he responded, “That’s stereotyping transgenderism, that it is a state of mind. I could tell he was getting restless when I asked why then hormone therapy would be necessary.

Speaking of change of race, these people immediately come to mind.

"Income" is just a state of mind. When you file your tax returns, remember this. If you get audited, simply explain this to your friendly IRS agent. "Mr. Oak, you said you only made x,xxx last year, but your W2 says xxx, xxx".

"Ma'am, let me explain something to you..."

John Howard Giffin’s, Black Like Me. A top 10 impactful book on my understanding of the 1960’s and the civil rights movement.

Good reminder for me to re-read it now.
