Our WR coach played in the NFL as a WR and just coached a WR into the 1st round draft. That should be a start.

Development wise did well here, Recruiting wise …. The reason we are thin/no elite WR on the team is also on him.

I think there is no doubt that BG was a really good positional coach. In the long term I think upgraded in that department.

At this point of the game, its hard to tell isn't it? He seemed to recruit well enough at LSU.

Yes, he did. Captive in-state players, great facilities, well entrenched at LSU.

Not sure if they are done at RB or not. Seems like they are with HS backs but Sampson James from Indiana just jumped in the portal. I think he was a Freshman last year and a Top 10 back his Sr of HS. He is a big guy to sitting around 6’0 220.

If Napier takes another RB, I'd rather see a burner. The one knock on Webb is top-end speed. Might explain why there are no published 40 times.

I wouldn't be surprised at another monster and using some slot guys out of the backfield for speed.

And not get caught from behind by a safety. Sounds like Etienne. Maybe we get someone like that in the ‘24 class.

    Now you’re talking about a 5*
That would be lovely, but I’ll take power over speed for a couple of our backs

Totally agree. Prefer consistent 5-8, move-the-chains than a bunch of no gain drive killers hoping for that 1 or 2 40yd scampers a game

Yep but there’s a reason 3rd and 15 happened for Sanders, always lead tge league in negat yardage. Great highlight reel though.

Me too but if you're signing two or three, it's good to have one burner.

I like Baxter a lot as a big back with a very good resume. He also seems to have his head on straight as well.

I’d love more than anything to have Baxter in this class man, sheesh!!!

I like Webb but it is obvious watching his HUDL film, he doesn’t have the top end speed you’d prefer
