Where do you think he's going? Brother plays 1 hour from Gainesville. He knows he's headed for the draft next year, which won't be hurt by playing for a running oriented team like UF.

So unless Bama or UGA come calling, who have a stable of their own studs, why in heck would he leave?

If you are going pro next year, not sure it is worth it to change college teams for a year. There is value after college and NFL to be viewed as an alumni of UF. Large State with millions of people. Switching loses that ability to be viewed as a Gator for life

It’s been reported by a lot of Gator beat reporters that they expect him to transfer. He wants to be the premier back behind a better OL his last year.

He needs to learn to block then to get more carries.

Yeah. That is kind of the irony. Better offenses have better blockers. Why would better offenses want to take him to telegraph when they are going to run the ball? I expect our line to block better next year. I don't expext him to. He has a brother in the NFL after all. He knows what's what.

Good luck with that proposition. I don't think it'll work out for him. That's a big ask.

I imagine their 2-3 five star RBs will have something to say about that. That is a position they don't need an upgrade.

I understand that as well, but he'd be better off going to an acc or pac 10 school if he wants all that. The big schools have just as good or better backs already.

Hanging on to Wilson is more important as far as what the team needs more than likely but if we can’t keep him here over money we are in big trouble. He could either be looking to win a championship or simply money. He could also want to be a featured back. His path to the nfl is fine where he is. He’s not getting used up from being over burdened but he still needs to round out his skillset.
Candy thinks both won’t return. If he has inside info, I’d think that either means featured back or money. If it’s, Georgia, it’s money and winning.

If his reason is that he wants to go to a team that knows how to WIN, that I understand. The best players HATE losing. And our guys have had to endure an awful lot of it the last 2 years.

Kirby will take from us just to take from us. I would normally agree but not with Kirby.

he looks like a better runner to me than anybody Georgia has regardless of rankings. But if he can’t pick up a blitz, he will not be playing at Georgia

Kirby won’t care if he plays for them, just cares if he isn’t playing for us.

Another potential reason why they might be leaving that I didn’t see mentioned is they don’t have faith in BN as a head coach or OC or both.

Maybe, but he seems to be nothing if not a players coach. Seems to be very well loved by his guys.

Looks like tampering if he goes to UGA. Freaking NCAA won’t do anything about it.
