Raymond and chaos OUT

I don’t disagree, but there were a lot of “WTF” moments (for me at least) on offense and special teams this year as well. There were times in the FSU, Mizzou, and LSU games where the defense actually made plays, but at times the offense didn’t capitalize because of very poor decision-making/playcalling on that side of the ball during very critical moments that could have changed the outcome of those games. At lot of that falls on Napier himself.

 

Peterson and Spencer

 

Billy has sang the praises of Bateman multiple times here lately, would be surprised if gets run. Mike Peterson on the other hand, have heard nothing from Billy about him.

 

Saw nothing out of Marshall or Kimber that showed me that Raymond had coached them up. Time for someone else

 

Surprised about both but especially Raymond. He was declared our best hire and started strong. Something went wrong when he took over the whole secondary.

 

Maybe Napier fired Raymond and Spencer so he could hire two more OL coaches!

 

Raymond was a hire I was excited about as they usually had big physical DB’s. But something was lost in translation. Maybe a reason

 

Really hope we don't lose any top recruits who were recruited by these coaches.

 

Don’t be surprised if some decommitts happen. It’s an inevitable with coaching changes.

 

Anybody else thinking

I heard we are going to add another offensive line coach

 

1 for each player. That way there is no confusion.

 

Considering the state of the OL I would not be mad at this

 

Hopefully we can get quality assistants to come work for a twelve year old DC.

Our coaching staff overall is very young. Now we fired the two most experienced?

This has the vibe of Mullen firing the db coach while keeping Todd.

 

Raymond recruited a lot of talent and put a lot of guys in the league over the years. Most of my LSU buddies were not sad about him finally leaving though, and most complained regularly about the play in their secondary under him.

 

Maybe Brian Kelly saw something, but his defense sucks also.
