You have a hot seat fixation. Any move CBN made would have resulted in a post about the 'hot seat'. CBN wants to win and he is taking decisive action to do what he thinks improves the organization. I don't see him motivated by a 'hot seat'.. Any coach with a 20+ million buyout would not be motivated by a 'hot seat'.
The way we lost the Missouri game, Raymond had to be on the hot seat. Four players standing there. I think Big Watson had to play more against F$U because of the spitting incident. I could be wrong. I think it is better to clean house before Early signing day so recruits didn't feel they were bait and switched. Like to think positive, Good will come from this.
I like Jules. Naples area still talks about “lil” Jules Montinar. Very highly respected. Actually a good teacher. His players really liked him while at Florida.
And the players lack of taking what they’ve been taught is ok. Not their fault they didn’t apply what they’ve been told.
I've zeroed in on Kimber in several games. He thinks he is playing flag football. I don't understand how he gets on the field.
I've seen plenty of late games where it appears players aren't giving 100% effort and make very little effort to make tackles.
Also consider the author of that "x". Josh Hammond, former UF WR. I think he would have a little insight into player effort and execution of what they are being taught. At least more than a message board poster.
How do you know they were told/taught? While none of us can be sure, when coaches keep players in the games, it would appear to be at least tacit approval of their performance. So who do you hold accountable for the on field shortcomings, when the coaches appear to grant their blessings for the subpar performances?
