Like you suggest he is so out of shape that he could only go for an average of 15 snaps per game. A player like you suggest needs to be on the field and effective for a minimum of 50% of the game snaps. I actually think Watson's snaps per game had fallen over the course of the year, so unless he makes some drastic and quick changes (or everyone in front of him bolts) he will never be a double-team inducing, game-changer we sorely need at DT.

What I saw was a problem with execution. Especially blocking.

Does Napier ascribe to the Saban method of practicing something until you can't not do it right? I assume he does which makes me wonder are we not capable of learning, not enough practice time yet, coaches who can't teach, players learn but can't execute....

I think you got it right with the first idea. No blocking.

Stephen Harris said it best, it's all surprise, and soft pushback. Not 1 reply has been these guys were the best and can't be replaced.

It's obvious to me. I think we're so bad at it we spend most practice time trying to get better at it. Tackling also.

I Still think we overachieved in some games and underacieved in some. Not surprised.

He's particularly a liability when a team goes tempo and doesn't allow for substitutions.

I thought it was just the LSU fans on the rant that were sore "losers" for losing Raymond, but now after two years I see exactly what they were warning Gator fans about.

The fact that last year the coaches were saying they wanted him to get down to 380, which he never did and then came back this year HEAVIER than last last year tells me everything I need to know about his commitment level. But hey, at least his Twitter game is strong.

And the coaches should have sat him until he got down to at least 390.
No consequence speaks volumes about who's in charge.

It never has been. There are exceptions. There's a huge difference between age 30 and late 30's.

In the Missouri game Brady Cook passes for 331 yards but 225 came after the catch. Our DB do not tackle

So, how did those 2 OL coaches survive another day, worst performing unit on the field this season, and then there’s their recruiting??

If they’re both on expiring contracts then they will just get hired else where or we will just hire others. No need for firing
