I like that he’ll start. No big deal to me really, but does add another wrinkle, which makes another team’s games that I’ll be mildly interested in, which is a good thing as far as I’m concerned.
I don’t dislike rashada. I hope he performs at his best. I just hope 132 other fbs quarterbacks perform better is all.
I’m not saying he’s joe burrow but let him grow this year and Lagway backs him up next year. I think he will surprise us.
What would be the point? One is playing at ASU and the other in the SEC. Only comparisons you could draw from that would be trying to validate opinions you had going in
My only gripe is that the media portrayed this as if we stiffed him for the dollars. Which wasn't true. But he never said that nor did his parents. So.media.
Rashada has talent. But he's being thrown to the wolves in my opinion. ASU won only 3 games last year, and O-line is their biggest question mark. They also list their best RB, and have no proven starter. This is also Head Coach Dillingham's first season ever as head man. Rashada clearly had the most upside in the ASU QB room, but play a QB too early behind a bad line and no running game? That's not a good recipe. If Rashada bombs and gets benched, what's that going to do for his confidence?
Gigantic difference between the SEC and anyone else. Very few breaks, if any, in the SEC! And everyone is getting better!
