Spurrier Meyer(and it ain’t close) Mac Zook Mullen Muschamp I won’t rate Napier. His body of work is incomplete. If we are adding Pell and Hall then Galen would be third and Pell fourth.
I’ll die on this unpopular hill, but I think we should’ve given WM more time. Especially knowing that McElwain and Mullen weren’t going to be the answer anyways. Players loved WM and WM knew high level defense. I’m sorry I ever complained about the lack of offense, because an awful defense is 10x worse than a bad offense.
I dare you to go back and watch the Nussmeyer days...oh god was it bad and hard to watch. Not sure I could make a call on bad o or bad d.
Yeah this sounds great until you remember he got 4 years more time at USC and also sucked. He's a great DC.
I bet a bunch of us would like to go back in time and take back the things we said during Muschamp’s and McElwain’s time. I thought the Zook years would have been the bottom.
1. Spurrier 2. Meyer 3. Mullen 4. Zook 5. McElwain 6. Muschamp 7. Napier We can most certainly rank Napier with an asterisk of “as it stands of today”. If his career at UF ended tomorrow, he would without a doubt be dead last.
Let’s rank our 2 best coaches and everyone who failed at their job, and the new guy that’s still here! Ranking Urban above SOS tells me the OP wasn’t alive for SOS coaching days. Or not old enough to have watched those games. Yes Urban has 2 NC, but Spurrier was by far a better coach.
Yeah he brought nothing regarding any football knowledge which is ok but now he committed to full troll. Guess when that's all you got that's what you do.
Personally I think deleting every post that doesn't agree with the hive mind is bad policy, so I'm happy they're not doing that anymore if that's true. If posts that don't lay praise on everything bother you this much, perhaps consider something drastic like not clicking on them? If that's too much there are other options: not reading them, and lastly not opening, reading and then typing up an entire response. It wasn't a good season and people are going to have opinions you don't like. That's ok. If it's impacting you to this degree there are websites designated as Internet safe spaces like USPS.com
It’s not about impacting me. Even DJ Lagway stated that the negativity from the fan base and attacks on our coaches gave him cause to reconsider. Why this is so difficult a concept for y’all to grasp is head-scratching. I think you know it but y’all just prefer to keep hammering away.
And there's always that convenient ignore feature on this site....not that I've ever used it. I've been tempted once or twice, though!
Pretty sure he's talking about relevant forms of social media like twatter and instagrams, or even TV and radio. I would bet my paycheck recruits aren't browsing gatorcountry forums and getting depressed because some random guy rated BN 7th on his coach list. If they are maybe a big football program isn't a good fit. You should see what Alabama and Auburn fans do in real life.
You remind me of that movie where Brendan Frasier wishes he was a sensitive guy and ends up crying about everything
