Amazing a’int it? In Jeff Sharlet’s book The Undertow: scenes from a slow civil war (that I highly recommend) he attended a church service at a mega-church where the pastor was using the 23rd Psalm as a call to arms for Christians saying the rod in “thy rod and thy staff comfort me” means a gun as rod = gun right? And the staff means get a club. Heretofore, I had always thought the 23rd Psalm was to reassure the faithful that God is always with them and to fear not. I think it was this church (in Ca) that had a pulpit constructed from AR-15s - but it could have been another he visited.

A pulpit constructed of ar-15's. Sick. Why don't they replace the cross over the pulpit with an ar while they are at it?

“LOL, Russia military a paper tiger.” and “”If we don’t stop them they’ll take over Europe!”

    parallel …

“Religion in the US in sharp decline.” and “We’re in danger of sliding into theocracy!”
