And in the panic to redirect, one of them posts how teachers get fired post haste for basically whatever (in that case her burner Twitter account and not a work event) even though later it’ll be back to “unfireable” teachers.
I’m glad they got their asses whipped. I hope they also face criminal charges. My question is,,, does anyone here think if the guy moving the boat was white that he would not have been attacked the same way? I think anyone assuming all white people that fight someone of a different race must be a racist, is misguided.
The same could be said about 99% of the threads you have created, the difference is that would be an accurate statement.
Why do you assume the attack was racially motivated? Do you really believe that if the riverboat co-captain who asked them to move their boat had been white, these drunken thugs would have respectfully and politely said “Yes sir, we will move our boat immediately?” We can call out bad behavior for what it is, without projecting onto it.
TBH - the initial video felt gross and I didn't see any indication of racism. Perhaps someone knows more about that. When I watched the follow-up video, though, with the reactions, there was an element of comedy gold. The episode is so appalling that one can only reconcile through laughter.
Those Chads and Karen’s were probably loaded and the alcohol brought out the worst in them. They got what they deserved, if you asked me. These Chads and Karen’s weren’t ready for the cases of whoopass they were about to receive. Were the chairs excessive, sure, but they were in the find out phase. They sure found out!
I haven't looked into any details we may have but do agree with those questioning whether there was any racial motivation here at all. Of course, race is often raised as an issue, fairly or not, particularly when there's a group or groups of people involved. I recall Tucker ranting about the war against White people while running the story about the White woman who was attacked by the group of Black people. And that was despite the fact that her boyfriend was Black and the couple was reportedly robbed as well.
I have watched multiple videos of it. While the ensuing melee divided up mostly along racial lines, I was responding to GL’s assertion that the initial attack was racially motivated. Perhaps it was, but I haven’t seen evidence of it. We need to discuss facts without projecting imagined ones.
