He’s transferring to UF and bringing his interceptions with him.

I think I’ve made it known that I’m a Napier supporter but consider me underwhelmed with this transfer. I’m so disappointed that I’m too lazy to research mediocre QBs who turn into top flight QBs with different coaching.

If this class accidentally stays as is I’m still excited for the class.

Let’s hope this is just a rumor to get McCall.

Not sure about this but we will see. Good thing is that he’s a stop gap

I mean, tbh, I would have liked a Leary or McCall to be a stop gap next season... But I'm also perfectly fine riding with Miller or Rashada and letting them get some Freshman lumps on their way to (hopefully) a breakout sophomore/junior season in 2024 before handing off to Lagway in 2025.

Thought Miller played fine in the bowl other than the o-line absolutely sh*ting the bed in the run game. Which made OSU pin their ears back every other down. Dude was running for his life the entire game with a defense that knew he was going to throw every down.

I'm more concerned about fixing the defensive woes than I am at QB. Just slightly better QB play gets us to 8 wins next year IF it comes ALONG with better defensive play. The latter is more important, imo. We have an elite running game that can open up the pass - we just need a guy that can hit on play action every now and then.

Rashada will still be here through at least 25. If he takes over and does well, I doubt Lagway sits two years and he may be graduating early so he could be here next year.. Miller may be decent given more prep time and some experience. That oline though, Nape has work to do.

Why in the hell are we taking a guy with a 59% completion percentage when someone like McCall is available and has 70% completion percentage??? This makes no damn sense !!!!!

What about Joe Burrow? I am not saying that will happen here, just throwing it out there based on your post.

IF this is true, he’s not coming here to start, which makes little since for him. I would rather ride it out with Miller or Rashada. Underwhelmed

The timing of this tells us that Graham Mertz will not be seen as a threat to Rashada. Still, it is a stupid waste of a scholarship, unless he is a PWO.
