I actually think that Miami is very good. Cam Ward had all day no doubt, but when he was in tough situations he was a very cool and executed well. I think we got blown out because of how poorly we performed. But I think this Miami team has the tools to be better than it has been in the recent past. As usual, the truth is somewhere in the middle
Who knows, but apparently he was going to leave Ole Miss for Auburn in 2022. He stayed at Ole Miss when his daughter Landry, a sophomore there, put together a slide show with reasons he should stay. She should be a senior this year. If he was gonna leave while his daughter was enrolled there, then there shouldn't be anything standing in the way of his leaving once she graduates (assuming she does and isn't staying for her Masters, etc).
Yeah maybe rather than get mad at them we start looking inward on why everyone outside the bubble predicted UF to have the season they did.
Not sure about the first part...6 losses in a row with no improvement in any aspect of the team in 2 years...Im definitely sure about the last part.
Yep...weve really got to be concerned someone is selling our most guarded secrets for profit....Im referencing our playbook here in case you were thinking I was dragging this out a different direction.
Dude has the charisma of a stale loaf of bread. Never liked how he conducted a press conference. I always felt he looked like a guy who was in over his head. This team hasn’t shown any progress. Zero. We knew it would be year 3 where he proved his value, and it’s going to take a miracle at this point - Epic failures by every team we play. honestly looked like a 1a high school team playing a 7a team. Down 4 TDs and a player celebrates a tackle like they won the Super Bowl. any player who any good will hit the portal and DJ will be Audi 5
In comparison to what ray davis did last year, 4.4 yards is a blessing. I thought the defense tackled better than the past 2-3 years. No pash rush to speak of was tough to watch. I do wonder if the 2 roughing penalties and Wards ability to scramble had them playing more tentative on Dline. Glass half full, you're never as good or bad as week 1. Don't overreact because it's one game, could be their best game and our worst game. However, that doesn't make up for the embarrassment Gator Nation feels today. In the swamp no less, against a hated rival. Feels like 2002 after that Miami game. In defense of that 02 team, that was a national title contending Miami team, so we will have to wait and see how good 24 version of Miami is.
We looked slow and lost in that game, and we looked/played very weak. Their lines were much better than both of our lines.
The difficulty recruiting quality offensive and defensive linemen has come back to haunt UF in spades.
In hindsight APR and Princely could have at least added speed on the edges but obviously that ship had to sail, at least with Princely
