Good Lord.... You'd think by now an analyst, players mom, his own family, his secretary, the family dog/cat/fish, (not going Shark) Anyone would give him some new words/ideas to alter the schtick??!! How about an emotional I'm pissed, I'm sad, I'm just so damn tired of water bottles.... Then Gronk it to the ground.... I told the players we have a choice to make???? That didn't happen in friggin July?? This is pathetic Go Gators
Just to be clear , I'm not happy with today overall by no means. I did see some things I liked. for starters , PUP is a beast. He and Shemar will do well there. We actually did well vs. the run. D. Martinez is a legit RB whom has racked up a bunch of yards In his career But we kept him in check for only 65 yds. Overall we held them to 4.4 avg yards per rush. LB play was pretty good, they tackled well, the Secondary.... ehhh , They need to wake the hell up. Had a few busted plays. A couple times a DB Bit on the wrong route allowing chunk plays. I thought Lagway Looked good despite the nervousness he started out with. He was able to move the ball. Will be interesting where this goes. Wilson, Badger, Dike look to be a really good trio. Adding Badger will pay dividends. Wasn't the best outing for the passing game game but they stood out. Loved Trell breaking off for a 71 yds TD. Need more of that. Only 2 penalties (unfortunately both of which killed us). Bright side is There were no procedural penalties. And special teams did ok. Overall it's hard to act like the season is over after the the 1st game of the season which is notoriously known for teams not performing well, and it's not like we played Furman or Western KY. We'll know soon enough if we just came out flat vs. A ranked team in week 1 and will have a much better showing next game or we have a longgg season ahead if us.
Held them to “only” 4.4 yds per rush…… a RB that averages 4.4 yds per rush is a Hall of Famer! Kudos for trying to find the silver lining though.
