    Sure. Agree/disagree.

I appreciate and respect your willingness to mix things up in the wake of last night's ... results.

    Peace.

Exactly. We've had a years of unrestrained, continuous fugly from the dems vis a vis Trump AND his supporters.

It would, at the very least, have continued.

    Eg-no daily Trumpgasms today?!?!?

A conspicuous and noteworthy (in its absence) deviation from every single day prior hereto going back to God knows when...

Quoting James Carville from 32 years ago, "it's the economy, stupid". It was the perception that the economy was broken in 1992 that he got Bill Clinton elected and it was the economy that resulted in Donald Trump's reelection. The rationale of the swing voters responsible for Donald Trump's election is very simple. The cost of food, fuel and housing is considerably higher than it was in 2020 and since Joe Biden was president during the last four years it was Biden's fault adding that Harris said that she wouldn't have pursued policies different from those of Joe Biden.

I don’t think she is going to concede. I believe she’s going refuse to do so on the basis that he’s “a criminal.” As the time goes on, this becomes more evident. You usually don’t sit on a concession. Yes, Trump did but he alleged voter fraud. She doesn’t have a case for that here and she is supposed to be a unifier. Something stinks, is what I’m saying.

Thx. Potemkin village is a new term to me. BTW; Interesting that it derives from a Russian campaign. I hope that Russia doesn’t turn into a bigger issue for us with Trump driving the short bus.

Didn’t Obama have to press Clinton to concede to Trump and that was before the networks had projected Trump the winner in 2016? It was much closer than this in 2016 but Obama told her to concede at like 3:00am on Election Night.

Disagree, I think she will be delivering a concession speech this morning. Certainly no later than tomorrow afternoon.

Yep. Nikki Haley could be the first SE Asian woman elected next time around. (Fishing for funny/likes on the Asian part; Serious about the woman part)

Always is on election night in my opinion.
I did like FOX's interactive graphics better, but both were very good in their coverage.

I also peaked at MSNBC and PBS and it appeared they were holding wakes.

    Woke wakes perhaps? ;)

Here's the thing, I and others have been saying this for a while and you and a lot of the left ignored it and tried to say the economy is doing great. The people spoke, and spoke loudly. I think trump is a complete idiot and not sure his policies will make the US economy better, but I know people weren't happy with the price of goods and services and it showed at the ballot box.

The tradition is the losing candidate calls the winner to congratulate before loser addresses their supporters. I have a hard time believing Biden and Obama would allow Harris to skip that in lieu of keeping an image of integrity about the process. Again, recall Obama forced Hillary to call him at 3:00am in 2016.

Both CNN and Fox do election coverage well. I tend to prefer Fox’s style of presentation because it’s a little more “energetic” seeming (which helps once the night gets really late), but they are both fairly easy to follow and informative.

I tried to watch MSNBC’s for a while last night, but the impression I got was that they haven’t figured out how to use the interactive board in a terribly engaging way yet. It’s neat for showing trends and factoids briefly, but every time I put theirs on the guy seemed to be clicking from county to county and switching from year to year interminably, which got hard to watch for long periods.

    That's on the Dems.
They kept pushing an agenda that people dont want. An agenda so unpopular that a deplorable criminal and sexual deviant beat them in every way.

Keep thinking the problem is the other guy.

Kelly Anne Conway nailed It last night. (No Im not kidding). She said something along the lines of:
"Democrats think they can win young voters by just dumping an old guy and replacing him with a less old person, but what young voters really need is to hear how they can buy their first house".

I think the same goes to abortion and LGBTQ issues. 99% of people won't need abortions and arent impacted by LGBTQ issues.

Hanging your hat on those is a fool's errand.

My 20 year old actually told me the threats of war globally scare her. Harris didn't really give good answers and things have escalated under the current admin.

I am in no way saying Trump is some magic solution. I hate the guy, but the dems missed the mark.

Abortion wasnt the silver bullet. (We tried to tell ya'll)
    LGBTQ issues arent winning issues.

    Americans are mostly moderate.
    The DNC is not.

John King at CNN is my favorite, but I went with Fox News last night because the other folks at CNN are a bear to listen to and I knew Trump was going to win. I wanted to enjoy it.

I agree with you, but this also implies Trump laid out plans for things like affordable housing as well. He did not. So I really don't think this was an election based on policy. And I really don't think we'll ever have an election based on policy in this country again.

    Respectfully, I disagree entirely.

There was no "agenda", so to speak. She proposed nothing revolutionary or threatening. In fact, there were complaints of how badly KH flip-flopped away from past liberal positions. Even that she stole Trump's positions.

There were aggrieved people whose minds were fertile ground to believe lies, and who had have a willingness to embrace false victimhood.

Also, re-read your paragraph that i quoted please. See if you see the irony in your words.
