You really like saying "goose step" don't you? Does it give you full wood, or just a chubby?

Stop it! They don't care!!! He could shoot a baby in the face on live TV and they'd still find a way to rationalize it. No, they don't see it. No, they'll never see it. Yes, they refuse to even entertain the idea of seeing it. Take a note from Joe.!

Given his pardon, Hunter can no longer use the Fifth Amendment's right against self incrimination to keep from testifying before Congress. If he doesn't testify he can be charged with criminal contempt. The same goes for anyone else who gets a pardon. That could include other Biden family members and Jack Smith.

The stench of Watergate did that, not the Nixon pardon.

Actually, this is who Joe Biden has always been. Biden allowed his family to trade off his name and his position for his entire career. If he had been smart, he would have stayed in the senate, allowed his family to live well, and faded into history as Jeopardy question. When Obama offered him the opportunity to be at the top of national politics, Joe's ego could not just say no. He should have known that Hunter and Jim's questionable dealing were going to come under scrutiny if he became VP but he apparently did not care and thought he could just power through them.

We are now getting close to the point of this story where Biden is no longer useful and we'll start to see former defenders come out and admit that Biden should not have allowed Jim and Hunter to do what they did but they had to defend him because Trump was such a threat to the Republic.

    Fitting.

Because nothing says "hinged" like scouring a website for someone's posts then retroactively leaving little emoji comments on them. And very masculine too!

Good one. You seem like a real bright bulb there missy. I might be insulted if it wasn't so stupid and, you know, straight out of 3rd grade. Do better. We go for 8th grade pissing contest here on GC.

But, but, but Joe Biden is an upstanding man that believes that no one is above the law! Oh wait...

Trying to rationalize with MAGA, or even speak on things above a 10th-grade level, is a complete and utter waste of time. That doesn't include R's who "voted for Trump", they're different. But MAGA is a lost cause. Just bait them and feed them rope at this point.

    Maybe. . . I guess.

Personally, I don't think anyone will give two shits in 6 months, or less.

Edit: My bad. Dead story by the end of the week.

6 Months? WTH was I thinking?

Did you really think Biden's pardon was not going to cover all of Hunter's legal issues that were not outside the statue of limitations? Even if there was not enough to secure a conviction, making Hunter go through the legal process would be extremely expensive. His last legal case required a friend to "lend" him about $3M. There was no way Joe was going to allow his son to be put in a position where he had those kind of legal bills again.

This is likely a boon to Trump as well. It offers Trump second Admin to move past the last 8 years and say they would have loved to go after Hunter but now it is out of their hands and they can focus the DoJ on their other priorities.

I would recommend just realizing that Hunter's career is over. He has no influence to sell. No one is going to be interested in his paintings. He is politically toxic to Democrats and their lobbying firms and think tanks. No one is going to want to hire him for anything. He is a person that is going to have a lot of time on his hands and that will likely cause a lot of challenges for someone like him.
