I keep seeing contradictory statements about Alexis. Some say he's skilled offensively, others say he brings no scoring to the table, except for put-backs.
On Alexis, I haven’t seen much of him. What reports and the stats say is that he is a bad FT shooter, but gets his points off pick and rolls and putbacks. Alexis himself has said he thinks he can be a three point threat, so we will see. In any event, the absolute key is Condon. He can score and pass out of the low post, pass and drive out of the high post in our Princeton motion stuff, and hit his jumpers. He is probably as skilled offensively as Castleton was at his peak. Maybe not Horford/Noah level, but I am as bullish on him as any big at this stage since them.
Well, Noah and Horford were top-5 picks. I wouldn't lay those kinds of expectations on anyone. But yeah, he appears to have all the tools to be at least as good as Castleton and probably better. Anyway, I hope he gets over his injury quickly and sees the floor in the next scrimmage.
I can't open that so can you please share some of the notes? I'm guessing that, with Condo on the bench, Haugh started at the 4, Chins at the 5. I saw a clip of Haugh burying a 3, so that's a good sign.
