Lagway flashes magic. Prior to the A&M game Mertz is relegated to his natural position as second stringer. DJ Lagway becomes the official starting qb for UF football.

 

Just try to beat someone you should beat and protect Lagway like the future depends on it. UF 27-21.

The most points Napier has scored at UF is 52 vs Eastern Washington. Field could be damp due to rain or it could even rain during game time. This weather and starting a new true freshman qb could cause…dramatic pause…Napier to go even more conservative …running even more often than anticipated. Yes, he can be even more conservative.

it is not in Napiers nature to keep the foot on the pedal. Ever. The only way we break 40 points is if Lagway off scripts his way to multiple touchdowns or the Samford turns it over and we get some defensive scores.

I would open it up and go balls out and try or score 70 if I was the coach. I am not. Napiers Gators 34 Samford 24.
