Mertz is going to put the offense on his back and run for the winning drive.

I like our board’s confidence. I think Florida has a great shot at this game, but it isn’t going to be easy. 24-20 Gators.

Miami squeaks out a late win.

Hope it’s not true but I gotta see it on the field. Too many years of getting my hopes up to be crushed.

    45-3 Gators!

    Offense gonna score every possession.

6 TD's (2 per Quarter).........and then Coach Napier will give the FG unit some practice!

    38-20 Gators

Cam Ward still likes to turn the ball over. Gator secondary actually gets a pick 6 to go up 2 td and another int behind a resurgent Jason Marshall.

Asa Turner blasts a um wide receiver for a fumble recovery.

Gator OL still has issues and we see Mertz sacked several times but he continues his ways... No turnovers.

Napier channels his inner SOS, casts Muschump aside, and stunningly uses the time at the end of the half to put together a drive for our only FG of the game.

Go Gators! You can't spell scum without UM!

Our program under Napier has only scored more than 41 points twice and that was against E Washington & McNeese.

Too realistic and close. I like our blowout scores much better.

We return 15 or 14 players, depending on which publication you believe has that right, so... Mertz should have a good handle on the offense, and he knows his receivers well... The O-line is better than last year with more maturity and depth as well as being fully healthy, which was one of the reasons why they struggled last year.

We have a very talented running backs room and the Tight Ends are one year bigger, faster and stronger than they were a year ago. All this leads me, and many prognosticators, to believe that our offense will be more efficient than they were in 2023. Plus, Mertz knows we have to score more points this year, and he knows this offense inside and out.

His first year was getting to know the offense, and his teammates, and he passed that test with flying colors. This year is where he will use that knowledge to get to a new level of confidence and proficiency though the air, and he will be playing to win... no more playing not to mess up. No more apprehension... training wheels are off.
