The fact that LSU is only 4.5 point favorite leads me to believe Vegas thinks Lagway plays. I think we can win this thing if he plays and is healthy

If Lagway has a grade 2 strain, it's not a good idea to play our future franchise QB two weeks removed from said grade 2 strain. It's very easy to pull a hammy and if it's not healed, it could easily get much worse. We are not in a position to gain anything by gambling Lagway's health moving forward. Of course, LSU knows all of this and probably feel insulted by Napier's charade. I'd rather not give LSU a reason to be pissed coming into the game.

Their defesense is about 68th in the national rankings.

I believe that with Lagway, the Gators can score a lot on LSU.
Without Lagway, I still think that the gators will score some points.

As for the Gator D in this game, the injuries are still a big handicap. Especially with the DB's that are out with injuries. I believe that LSU will score on the Gators. The question is how much.

Honestly, not only does it not fool LSU, it sends questionable messaging about how our staff truly handles injury situations. Anyone who knows anything about football knows two weeks removed from a grade 2 is a big no no. Especially for a non-consequential game, freshman. So what are recruits thinking when they see this sort of thing? Are they taking Napier seriously in that he would start Lagway in these circumstances two weeks removed from a pulled hammy? Lord, I hope not.
