Predict the excuses we'll hear if Harris loses BIG

That's very binary - it doesn't have to be "is or isn't", full stop.

There's no doubt that a lot of people in the UK are racist and/or sexist. It's not none and it's not everyone. But it exists.
Can't believe there isn't a swathe of that in the States, or pretty much anywhere for that matter.

FYI, definitely reporting over here seems to suggest Mr Trump might be ahead now. Take that for what it's worth. Change in tone.

Do you want to have a chance to vote for a presidential candidate in 2028? If yes, vote for Harris. If no, vote for Adolf Hitler (Trump). Anything that Harris does that doesn't work out can be undone in four years. There is one thing that Trump might do that cannot be undone without a civil war--and that is to declare himself a dictator and abolish democracy. Trump admires Hitler, he admires modern-day dictators around the world, and he has stated many times that he would like to have dictatorial powers. He's already had one insurrection, and seems to be planning another. He plans on using the military to go after his political enemies.

We currently have the best country in the world--the best economy, the most freedom, the most global power and influence, etc. Converting to a Nazi-style dictatorship and starting a civil war would undo all of that, and it would take generations of poverty, misery, and violence to recover from that. The world, without its policeman, would fall apart into chaos without the U.S. military (which is supported by the U.S. economy, which is supported by a stable democratic political system) to protect freedom. Russia would take over Europe, and China would take over Asia. By the time we recovered from Donald Trump, we would be isolated and alone, negotiating with our new masters from a position of weakness. Maybe that is an extreme and unlikely scenario, but are you willing to take that chance?

You have to make a choice--to support a Nazi takeover, or to support democracy. Choosing not to vote is essentially a vote to support the Nazi.

This is the Fourth Estate preparing for the Fourth Reich. Trump came in with an eight year plan that only had him laying waste to democracy in the fifth year.

    Honestly I'd be surprised.

The fringes rarely change their votes, in my experience. It's the centre that needs to be targeted.
A moderate right (if Harris gets in) or a moderate left (if Trump does) would be the more likely play in 4 years time, surely?

This line of BS is hilarious because Trump absolutely would do ANYTHING Putin tells him to do including what you are talking about if he hasn't already.

She has changed her stance on many issues.
It’s been documented since she became VP.
She is not eloquent and can’t speak off script.
    This has also been demonstrated.
If she isn’t hard left I don’t know who is.
You don’t want to see it.

I'm sure a lot of folks have this thread bookmarked in election day the opposite of how you think it is.

You were already off-topic and being flippant. Now you’re simply being dishonest. Stop trying to hijack the thread. We already know you hate what’s about to take place.

Yes, she did change her stance on a number of issues from the positions that she took four or five years ago when she was running for the Democratic nomination. On the other hand during the last year Trump supported the banning of TikTok until he didn't; he considered crypto a scam until he embraced it; and he was absolutely opposed to EVs until he moderated his stance on the issue and coincidentally all of his position changes occurred after he received the support of billionaire donors who had a direct financial interest in his new positions.

Compared to Donald "Covfeve" Trump, she is the most eloquent speaker in American history.

Trump can't speak ON-SCRIPT. There is always an idiotic tangent for him to wander off on, or someone to insult, or some asinine boast to make (best president in history--what a moron).

Trump also cannot seem to tell the truth--he is a hard-core liar. Over half the statements he makes seem to be lies. This has been demonstrated (repeatedly!).

She's no more hard-left than Obama was (she's probably less arrogant than Obama was, and more willing to adjust her position on an issue, which politicians have to do to get cooperation from Congress). We survived Obama's presidency.

Hard left will never be as extreme as full-on fascist.

And finally, only one of the two candidates is a convicted felon, rapist, and tax cheat. Care to guess which one?

Wait so you think she’s eloquent?
You think Kamala stays on point? Don’t make me laugh.

Sorry, but "an obvious sociopath with an unhealthy admiration of Hitler who also exhibits a number of Hitler – like qualities" takes too long to type.

I will if Trump will. I'm just quoting your candidate. Are you saying that Trump is a liar? He can't be trusted based on what he says?

Let me stop you right there.
Trump has nothing to do with this.
Kamala is an awful candidate and I’m telling you why I think so.
    Millions agree with me.

Hilarious that Orange & Bluke rated my post as "off-topic" when I addressed all of the talking points in his post, and humiliated him with the truth. Apparently he believes that HIS post was off-topic. That appears to be the right-wing admission of defeat on a message board: "The truth hurts too much. Make it stop."

    It’s clearly a subjective measurement.
You see what you want and I’ll do the same.
Enjoy voting for Kamala and I suppose we’ll find out what we get later.
Make NO mistake…She’s increasing taxes and that cannot be disputed. That is not good for biz.

Come on chem. Nowhere did I speak about shithead Trump and you know that.
Your hatred for Trump has made you a bit less focused lately.
    I’ll let it slide.
