According to VegasInsider the line right now varies from UT being a 7-pt fave at Caesars and DK to 9.5 fave at FD. I think it'll settle around UT -7.5/-8 throughout the week. Agree it's time for UF to do something and earn a little respect. Getting more than a TD at home against a ranked team, UF is in the same company as Illinois, Miss St, and Michigan St this week. Not great company.
So did A. Hall work at uk too? They have checkrboard on their sleeves Thanks for info..you're the first one , vol wise that could answer my question..
Kentucky says it was to honor secretariat I think. No idea if they had it long ago. I think they removed it off their jerseys for this year.
Ok on a serious note: Captain obvious here, but IMO, the biggest game of Napiers UF career. Win this and the Utah butt hurt and fan agita all goes away for the time being. All will be right again in the Gator Universe. Obviously I hope UF wins, for many reasons, but for me, the most important reason is to alleviate the pressure on Napier, install confidence in our 22 awesome recruits this cycle, and to propel UF into a positive spin cycle. Should UF win, the next slate of games suggest UF will be very competitive, given the competition. The time to make HAY as they say. Having said that, personally speaking I'm on board with CBNs rebuild win or lose, but the critics came out with some sharp knives after Utah, a win Saturday would go a long way toward dulling those knives.
so at least a 14 point dog if the game were at neyland. Assuming being at home is worth a td. Call it a hunch, but we can do this!
We have a defense. IMO and is (usually / not always) the case the team with the most success on the ground wins. I've kinda dialed in that if UF rushes for 150 yards and doesn't commit numerous turnovers and penalties, UF has a solid chance.
