Seems the narrative revolves around UF being able to block Miami's front 7.

After watching Tech whip SOW, perhaps not unrealistic, although every contest has its own unique narratives.

In the last week countdown, looking forward to UF/Miami and several other top level contests.

    Go Gators!

I too was at that game. Went with my Dad. I remember a lot of sad cane fans at the Orange Bowl after the game. Parked on someone's lawn for $20.

    Good times. Great memories.

    EastoWest-

Man, I remember that Miami game. And listening just now, and hearing all of those great players names, actually, on both teams. Nattiel, Anderson, Bell, Testaverde. I think the next year or maybe it was the year before they beat us, Testaverde pulled it off.

Yeah, but this year in the Swamp...

Their grey matter will be leaking out from their ears from the Swamp volume. Swamp gonna take 'em down...they're gonna get stuck in Swamp goo. o_O:confused:

Bring it on Gator faithful. Support the team, the players, the coaches, your school!!!

"Scream until you bleed. Pass it on!"

    Go Gators.:p;):)

How about this scenario to destroy the Cane fan base. UM up 5, at mid field, 40 seconds left, 2nd down, UF is out of time outs, Cam attempts a hand off, they fumble, Shemar picks the fumble out of the air, takes it to the house!

    LOL

    Sound familiar?

Or.. Uf up by a lot. Mertz has a record breaking day and needs one more pass completed.
UM has the ball at the fifty with under a minute left.. they have been terrible all day.
UF defense lays Down and let’s UM score to get the ball back for Mertz to set a record.

    Footnote to my Miami hatred.

One year when I had season tickets the guy next to me sold his two tickets for the Miami game. Two guys replaced him at the game wearing Gator garb. After awhile, I noticed they were contained in their cheering for the Gators and then discovered they were Miami fans in Gator gear hoping to score some Gator babes later. They were chatting some up. I said to them: "Are you guys effn canes?" I punched the guy next to me as hard as a could (in the arm) and yelled out "Canes!" and cheered even louder for the Gator players. What slimeball dudes. Man...

I just remember the thuggery back in the day.

Swamp sure needs to rock on Saturday!:ninja3:

    Go Gators.

That's locker-room fodder! The U favored at OUR HOUSE! Make it like 2006 when "The OSU" was so highly favored in the desert, "we didn't even deserve to be on the same field with them" only this time it will be in the SWAMP!

Here's what I've "heard" after reviewing the various podcasts and online previews from the UM side.
    • Miami D-line is their strength and should cause us problems
    • They are confident in their offense to both throw it with their coaching and scheme upgrades and pound the ball with their stable of running backs
    • They are worried about this team opening with their first game of the year in the Swamp, being able to handle the situation and environment

That was my first game as a student at UF. Had to listen to it on the radio with David Steele because of the probation live TV blackout. Lot of great players on both teams. That was a really good Miami team and they were beat up at the end.
