Pre-Game Discussion: LSU at FLORIDA (10/15)

I never thought I'd see the day.

 

Love both of them and they are among our best. Johnson appears to have the making of a Gator great.

At the same time probably a scathing indictment of our last coach.

 

I hope they drill this into the team. TN ran all over them and we played them close. Can't believe I just said that about TN.

 

Ugh, the word "correctable". I have PTSD because of that word.

 

Pock six against borough a few years ago was freaking awesome. The top came off the stadium

Two humbled teams about to face each other. Who wants it more for their new coach. Gators 34-28

 

Embarrassed them on the road and we messed up a lot of volunteer overalls on their home field with last min comeback. Transitive property never really applies but there was good coming out of our game last week. Running game blasting chunk plays and defense playing well (save one player not doing his job on certain downs) in second half against a good run stopping defense.
Defensive line actually looked good and they haven't all year - not even against UK. I don't think LSU can come in and blow us off the field but we could. But I expect a close game because - gator football.

 

At least there are teams that are worse. I find that surprising.

 

Biggest game of the year for both on field and for recruiting. Gotta get a W Saturday night!

 

It is still just too soon.

 

The teams are similar talent and depth wise. However they make a lot of mistakes and penalties and are fairly one dimensional on offense.

Their Oline is young and banged up. Running backs are average. Daniels is a decent QB on quick passes and is shifty when running but doesn't throw once he decides to run. Not much of a deep ball.

We should be able to run well against them.

They start slow and the Swamp will rock.
