That was a rhetoric question, Bowers is the team leader in receptions (41) yards yards (567) and TDs (4) in all 3 categories by nearly double the 2nd place player. So basically your most dynamic offensive weapon will be out, so this will be an interesting test for Beck.

The very next year (1996) I went to every single home game... and we won them all. I've been going to Gator games since the 1970's... off and on.

I can go with that, but taking away bona-fide workhorse in the offensive game plan can certainly hinder the offense's timing and rhythm. Not saying the others can't step-up but it certainly sucks losing the guy who puts poi ts on the scoreboard.

Bowers is maybe the best in the country. They have more where he came from though.

Kirby has built a team that is consistently sound and puts out very good effort. They haven't been beaten in a long time, and they rarely step on their own feet.

CBN is building a team that ultimately will compete and defeat the Gumps and the Mutts. It's taking some time. I'm looking for upgraded effort on our part, being competitive until the end, and hopefully come out with a victory.

On O, USCE seemed to be a breakout game for us, finally opening up the game plan with success. We need to be able to handle the mutts on both LOS.
On D, we still suffer from tackling lapses and being out of position. It is imperative that we play a solid game on D with excellent tackling and gap control. The consistency of effort and above factors, game in and out, is what will be need this game and the rest of the year.

It would be great if we defy the odds and end the mutts streak. I'm thinking this is going to be a fun game to watch.

    WOW!!! What a memory.

I cried tears of joy for the first time as a Gator when Kerwin hit Ricky for that 96 yarder.

When Georgia started driving when it was 17-0 I started getting that familiar sickness in my stomach thinking oh no, here we go again. An epic Goal Line Stand and that that 96 yarder.

    Tears of Joy!!!

I loved the USCE win but I’m not 100% sold on this team playing a full game in all 3 phases at a high level. USCE looks like a very bad team now and hope and prayers pulled that one out.

Mutts are without their star offensive weapon but have 2 weeks to change the game plan around who they have.
Almost feel they have an advantage there as we can’t prepare for Beck’s tenancies around finding Bowers. They have very good RB’s, a solid receiving corp with a big time Oline.

It would be a monumental victory and I’ve seen enough from the Gators to believe we CAN pull the upset (TN).

    Go Gators!!!

Of which the dirty LegHumpers are acutely aware because they cheap-shotted Kyle Pitts and took him out.
