I wonder how AR feels now about Mullen sticking him out there against Uga last year in his first start. He probably has some mixed emotions. It was a great opportunity but one for which he was woefully unprepared. Mullen could have given him a start earlier against easier competition.

You can invite players to the game, even provide tickets I believe, but you can’t interact with them at all. Even if they opened up that last part it would still be a significant difference from hosting a player at your home campus, with all of the amenities and facilities that the schools have built over the years.

 

As if playing in Jacksonville has really hampered Kirby's recruiting.

He's always looking for any kind of advantage and this is an obvious point of annoyance for him. I still think the money will eventually win out, as it usually does in CFB, but Kirby's influence on the situation from our end is not nothing.
