And first guy that gets an illegal procedure penalty walks home.

 

I just hope they hit the first guy they see and don’t let up.

 

I like our chances with their suspect O line and Scooby and Shemar open field tackling working as the Rattler spy.

 

Im just hoping special teams will field at least 9 players on the field and below 12...that would be a big improvement.

 

While we did blow out Vandy, it was Vandy, and I think they're pretty crappy this year. But...the good news is what was mentioned earlier in this thread. Things have been tweaked on offense, Bordingham, Johnson, the line, weapons back at receiver. It's all good. Perhaps the best arrangement and reshuffle this year; finally.

SC is very beatable.

My hope is the Gator secondary will go after the long ball rather than wait to see if the pass is actually gonna be thrown deep. It's already too late if you wait. Hence, we get beat almost every game with a deep ball TD because of the secondary. We had that facemask deal last time, which is a semi-mulligan. But, IMHO, it's almost kind of a 'I ain't gonna run fast and exert after the receiver unless I know they're going deep to him'. Whelp, that is not working. Nobody is fast enough to catch and disrupt someone going full stride if you hesitate.

We beat these guys in an away victory. Too many weapons, we're finding our rhythm. Guys are healthy. Big O-linemen back. The offense was nice to watch last game. Very respectable. We finally get the monkey off our back and win an away game. Convincingly. Going forward, no one will have an answer for Bordingham, Tre, Pearsoll, Johnson and Etienne.

Sometimes it's a simple fix. Remember during the Meyer era our line wasn't working and we had some bad-ass dudes. They made a simple shift, gapped them a bit and suddenly pass protect was fixed. I mean instantly! Napiers boys might be onto something, as I pray. The RB's need to protect Mertz too.

Can we please not give up the deep ball out of the gate?

If sc watches the uk video then they blow holes in the 3 man front. Until that changes I think the opponents will run heavy.

 

Does anyone think that USCe coming off a bye week hurts us? Think about it the next 3 opponents are coming off a bye week before they play us

 

Beamer is 2-0 off the bye and I believe SC is like 14-2 since 2000 something? Someone mentioned that out there on the inter webs awhile ago. I’m too lazy to check.
