You're right. We need to mix up the pass and run. That's our problem. Who cares if our defense gives up 700+ yards a game? Pfftt.. we should be able to score 50 points a game, easy.

they juggled with Tennessee's balls yesterday and played UGA as tough as anyone has in the last 3-5 years the week before. plus the weather at missouri for a night game i'm sure will be quite cold. and the defense is steadily regressing. (I'm still waiting for the D to get that one game-changing turnover)...sorry if i don't like our chances.

Never thought we would have to worry about Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Arkansas.
Got a long way to go but if we keep the recruiting class get 2 starters on OL in portol we should get 8-9 wins next year.
If not then we might have to start over again.
We have some good young talent.
    Got to tackle better #1

I don't mean to be overly negative, but that line feels low. Weren't the Gators giving 14 last night at LSU? I wonder why this line isn't closer to that.

ROIDS... Lol... One team takes them and the other team does not.

All kidding aside, I am amazed at how their QB have transformed into a dual threat QB this year versus last year. He's running around the field getting huge yardage as if he has played football that way all of his life.

And they must have been lucky in the Transfer Portal too... the entire team seems to have transformed overnight from what I saw last year.

But they did luck out getting that amazing running back, Cody Schrader.. He's like the energizer bunny out there with superman like strength and speed. He has most definitely been a huge factor in their rise near the top of the SECE.

Not bad for a team that had the #34 recruiting ranked class, according to 24/7, in 2023... has to be the portal.

On3 had Missouri's class ranked #36... great haul and now they seem to be playing lights out good. It must be the fact that their QB transformed into superman in just one year. How did that happen?

And Rivals had their 2023 class ranked at #33 class in the nation last year. The Gators were pretty much ranked around #13 on most of the ranking services last year, for comparison.

I have to investigate who tier coordinators and position coaches are to learn more about their miraculous transformation. Not bad for a head ball coach that never even played college football.

Here is who they got from the Transfer Portal last year.

That’s the number that I think that he will get. We have to try and score with them. There’s no chance this defense will be able to stop the Missouri offense .

We might need to pass to open up the run! Double reverse deceptive mojo.

I kind of like their coach. He's a little like Spurrier in the day, he isn't afraid of talking trash against his rivals. He's kind of animated as well.

Running up the middle against a wall always seems silly to me. I wish we used more pitches to the outside. Beating one or two guys to get 4 to 6+ yards seems more doable. Then again, no one has hired me to coach.o_O

    Beat Mizzou!

    Go Gators.:eek::p;)

I think the biggest difference is that SOS actually played college football... and won the Heisman. Also, SOS had that credibility from his time as Duke's head coach when he won them the ACC championship. All that before he came to Gainesville as our head ball coach. Drink has nothing in his past to be getting all talky.
