I don't think FSU is a powerhouse though, this is a 1 year blip in my opinion. Unless he is about to win in the portal again. Next year passing game is Rodemaker to Juhki Douglas.. like come on. That's not going to cut it.

I don’t know if Daniels will play or not play but he needs to take a rest after having his brain scrambled. When he went into the medical tent at Bama his mother was also in the tent. I am sure she doesn’t want him to play soon after being concussed. But BK doesn’t care he just want to win games that is how he is wired! It doesn’t matter to him this young man 10 years from now will be sitting in the front yard talking to himself with no recollection he is doing it. Concussions are serious more important than playing football. When I was in fourth grade I played peewee football for Spery Rand one of my teammates suffered a concussion and was sitting on the bench and fell off the bench and was having epileptic spasms our coach Dr. Pepper immediately took control of the situation and my teammate never played again the rest of the season. Thank God for a coach that cared for his players.

Norvell will portal his way to good next year. Trust me he will have a new QB from portal and some big time receivers coming in through the portal. Almost every starter for FSU is from the portal.

We'll see how the big portal strategy works. Not sure rebuilding a roster every year will work long term.

 

I agree. Look at their roster, it’s bad when you get past the transfers. They will need to convince a new crop of starters to come in and I just don’t see that working out consistently. You can add a piece here and there in the portal, but relying on it every year to field a competitive team won’t work
