I somewhat agree with your point, but dammit I hate when people bring up Norvell. The guy went to the portal and somehow grabbed as many good players as possible because his process WAS NOT working. The Noles would be a 3 win football team this year without the portal. Sometimes the process isn't working and you find an alternate route.

Our best player in the secondary is a freshman at safety. He needs 20 pounds of muscle but think where we'd be without him. Our best player on offense may also be a freshman. Or at least the most exciting.

Norvell has been an A plus in portal and turned FSU ( unfortunately) into a powerhouse again. Hoping Miami beats them this week.
