Going off your posts, I think you likely put in more work than most 30 year olds nowadays. Like my stepdad. I think he’ll still be trying to swing a hammer or change the oil in his truck long after they put him in the ground. He’s over 70 now, still has a full time job, and probably puts another 40+ hours a week in on other stuff. Never stops moving.
I think we can keep it close for some of the game, but would be shocked to win... pleasantly shocked I will add.
I admire your stepdad. He must really enjoy his job to keep working. I'll be 72 next week and when you get older, you have to keep moving, staying busy doing things you enjoy. I retired at 55, but walk 2 miles a day, do my own yardwork, do some volunteer stuff, go places with my wife and generally stay as busy as I want doing things I want to do. For some the Golden Years are nothing but pain and doctor's appointments. And some of that is genetics or circumstances beyond our control. But in many ways each day is a choice and it's what we do with the time and abilities we have that matters.
