The line is all over the place. Earlier today it went back up to UK -3, now it’s down to UK -1.5

Thanks for joining the fray here and welcome aboard. We all have the data, the stats, the objective facts for analysis, but each side is really saying about the same thing, subjectively. You might have a slight edge. And we hope we have an edge. I'm just regurgitating what I'm reading, I'm not sure I have any supreme insight.

This is the game we need. This is the game you need as mentioned. This game would help both of our teams tremendously. And, yes, getting the monkey off your back and winning a couple helps your cause. Your stadium will be rocking. No doubt. I was actually impressed how raucous it was the last time.

BUT...the past doesn't mean anything this year. New year. New game. Lot of new players. We both have good coaches.

I'm hoping we're starting to turn the corner with getting this puppy rebuilt. We have some insane recruiting kicking in and while that doesn't help us right now (well a few might) but we're tired of waiting for the big turnaround. Parity runs supreme now. A lot of teams are good enough to knock anyone off on any given day. It is my hope that the Gators prevail.

Thanks for your contribution, it's great to hear your perspective. As nice as you are I have to hope you are a bit off...:po_O:D

    Be well.:)

    Go Gators!

Think we have the better QB, and with a healthy Wilson our WRs are as good.
We have 2 backs who will be drafted. We both need our OL to play betterbut they played well against Tenn I'f we get that type play we will win.
It will be a good game and have much respect for Kentucky just think we are a little better.
Your best chance is I've stunk this year on my picks my worst year I can remember.
    I say fla by 7-10.

CBS is picking games that they feel will have the highest tv viewership. Both nationally and in the south, regardless of records, Georgia vs Auburn is a bigger Match up name wise than Florida at Kentucky. 4-0 UK vs #22 3-1 Florida isn’t a ratings bonanza over #1 Georgia 4-0 vs 3-1 Auburn.

plus, Georgia is ranked #1 which will draw eyes to tv no matter the team. I also think they picked the auburn Georgia game prior to auburn loss - though I could be wrong.

    Just is what it is.

Billy is building for the future by playing young players while instilling in them what it means to be a Gator. Our 2024 class is shaping up to be the catalyst for good times ahead. BN has a plan and he's sticking to it and that's a good thing. Patience is a virtue Gator fans so give him time. '65 Gator Grad.

He has a plan and it's moving. He said he'd be hated for being slow and methodical. He may not be hated yet but there's some hating.

If you think KY's D is elite, what do you think of the Gator D? Just a quick perusal of some stats UK isn't in the top 50 in most categories and the ones where they are in the top 20 or so, the Gators are higher.

The Gator defense is the key. Defense can give field position and that will be important Saturday. Shorter field will help the offense. Field goals will be very important and UF seems to have a kicker.

I have not watched but one off an on Gator football game this season. I was so happy you beat the hell out of UT. You guys looked elite and great that night. I celebrated just as much as you.

We have to stop their big play and get a few of our own to win this game.
Kentucky has 13 gains of 30-plus yards, which is 18th in FBS and allows none
(three gains of 30-plus allowed, second).
That's more than offsetting some of their scattered inefficiency issues.

    Kentucky numbers:
    SP+ and FPI rankings
    : 23rd and 36th
SP+ strength of schedule to date: 130th

If we treat them like Tennessee then we win... simple as that, because we know how to beat them in our place... or their place. Kentucky is a dirty team that will go after our QB's knees... $#&% THEM, and their coach... fatbastard!!!!

I don’t consider this game a “must win” as Napier took some pressure off himself with a UT win.

But I think it is hard to envision a UF coach being successful in the long term if he starts his career 0-2 vs Kentucky. Lose this game and SC, Mizzou, Arky become toss ups.

Kentucky has elevated the quality of their program. UF has been spinning its wheels for over a decade. Time for Napier to start trending in the right direction.
