Kudos to you as this is the best and most informative post I’ve ever read from a rival fan. I agree with pretty much everything you said.
Hope my fellow Gators took note of a few major points. 1st, how UK has looked, good or bad through their first 4 games means very little as to what UK team UF will see Sat as you pointed out with past years results. First big game for UK at home and Stoops will definitely have them fired up at home and they’ll play with an intensity not yet seen this year. He’s also likely been playing pretty vanilla and not showing much on offense or defense as he hasn’t needed to.
2nd, did everyone read that UK will likely play soft on defense and play bend but don’t break defense, so DON’T expect many long pass plays by UF this week either. Especially since UK has a good DL and LB’s. Talent levels are pretty close and both teams weakness is OL. I expect a very tight fairly low scoring game and a big defensive play by UF to win a close one in a hard fought game. Just win and it doesn’t matter how pretty or by how much.
    Go Gators!

Your numbers aren't even close to being correct, they're actually far off because Stoops has 33 career SEC wins. Do you mean FBS or Power 5? You're only allowed to play 1 FCS team per year, MAC teams are FBS. But assuming you mean Power 5 teams and not all FBS teams But he did come in and inherited a big mess in his first 3 seasons when he was rebuilding.

    Overall record?
-He's 55-59 against all FBS teams
    -He's 42-57 against Power 5 teams

Since 2016 since he started our streak of bowls?
    -He's 38-34 against Power 5 teams
-He's 51-35 against all FBS Teams

Not saying it's great, but he's doing it at Kentucky which is an uphill battle. They were 2-10 and a laughing stock getting run off the field by a Sun Belt team when he arrived. We just ask to be competitive at Kentucky. We don't think we can compete with Georgia & Florida regularly or even Tennessee. But we just want a chance to win every so often when we play.

Stoops built his success on our middle to lower tier SEC foes.
Stoops is 26-11 against South Carolina, Missouri, Mississippi State, & Vanderbilt.
We needed to own these teams if we wanted respect and we pretty much have...

But against Tennessee, Georgia, & Florida?
Stoops is 5-25 in those games, take out Georgia and we're 5-15.

Historically though, that's way better than we've ever been against you guys at the top in the last 50 years.

I know you don't like Cal but you're putting up with similar character with the football coach you love so much.

Not at all. One is a liar and the other one tells it like it is. A vast difference and it is refreshing to say the least.

I get it....Kentucky has played football for 131 years and has won only 10 games 4 times....and Stoops was responsible for 2 of them. Ya are happy with Stoops SEC record of 33-50...while Florida was 48-35 during that time and firing 3 coaches over it.

Nice deflection but your original post didn't say that at all. It said his record against FBS teams.

I'm sure Kentucky fans are very happy with Stoops as their HC.....but.
He is 19-46 vs FBS school's
    40-7 vs all other teams.

I'm assuming it's bad against ranked teams and wouldn't think otherwise, we're Kentucky lol. Most coaches not named Nick Saban or Urban Meyer have bad records against ranked teams.

Now I won't argue that his teams are great against ranked teams, but that's not what your post said.

I mean we're the most northern SEC school. We have 1 metro area in our state. We don't produce high level talent. We're a poor state. We just aren't going to ever be able to have a team that can compete for SEC titles unless we get 2-3 new billionaire donors for NIL. We usually are in the bottom 3-4 in the SEC in recruiting, so most every single game we play we're at a talent disadvantage. We probably don't have the largest budget for coaches and facilities either in the league.

    Look at this number...
-Last year according to Rivals the state of Florida produced 79 players rated 4 star or higher
-Last year according to Rivals the state of Kentucky produced 2 players rated 4 star or higher

That's what Stoops has to work with at Kentucky. Put him at a bigger school with more resources and he'd be way more respected. That's what people don't get about what we're up against in the SEC. Even Missouri out-recruits us and has more talent in their own backyard. But he still puts a quality team on the field every year, not a title contender by any means, but a team that can punch way above it's weight class.

I'm sure you all agree that if we were in the ACC or Big Ten West that we'd have much greater success. But we're in the SEC where even our lower teams have talent.

I did and went to the reddit post. It said fbs teams with winning records on the post you're referring to.

Again your post said ALL FBS TEAMS it didn't say anything about FBS teams with winning records.

Anyone on this site old enough to remember the game where Kentucky beat us 10-7 on a last second field goal by Lou Michels? Kentucky was out of time outs and with time running out they faked an injury (NOT common in those days) to get Michels on the field with score tied. He was an All American at UK as a defensive tackle and kicker.
I was only 10 years old at the time but remember huddling around our old radio listening to Otis Boggs bring us the game. But I remember being heartbroken. My Dad and Grandfather had a bottle of something they had which helped them through the grieving process. They used the same kind of bottle for celebrating our wins.
Pretty sure it was a night game in Lexington.

I have no idea what to expect on Saturday. The past couple of years UK's offensive line has been one of the best around, but those guys are no longer there. Logically, UK should revert to a defense-first team that is tough but beatable. But, maybe they've turned a corner. Kentucky hasn't really played anyone and every team they've played has a losing record. No surprises there and no information, either. They seem to start slow, so Napier better put the hammer down right away or the Kats will definitely have the advantage. Not sure what lead is 'safe' but it's not small. If we start the second half up less than two scores it's going to be tough. If we aren't leading ... might be a drinking night. Florida has one quality win and a loss to a top 10 team. Mertz is accurate but tends to throw to the wrong guy especially on 3rd down. Florida has Vandy next up and UK has Georgia. I'd say our coaches have the easier job there. Toss up for me.

That was awesome, and that Pearsall catch was unreal... That gound view of THE CATCH was insane.

Edited: The look on Billy Gonzalez's face is priceless..."I didn't teach him that," kind of look.

I had to go nearly frame by frame to catch the faces in the stands too... You can see so much more that way.
