Yes we will. Jeff, I always appreciate your posts. We have some SEC brethren we engage and certainly appreciate the dialogue. Then game week happens and we all get chippy. Ha. I'd have to agree with you, Stoops turned that program around and I personally think he's a great game-day coach. I don't know the condition your team this year, we're hoping it's abysmal so we can notch a win. But I guess we'll see around noon-time Saturday.

We too seem to be turning the corner, and quite frankly an away game win against you folks would help us feel better about the now and the future. :p:DTime will tell...

    Go Gators;)

And our schedule has been MUCH harder. Hopefully that bodes well.

Appreciate you as well! I really enjoy this board as I see other’s views and love the dialogue. I feel really good about my team, but don’t we all! Lol

Kentucky has looked pretty average against mediocre competition at best but that doesn't matter at all. As our friendly Kentucky posters have already mentioned, that has been a normal occurance to start some pretty solid seasons for them. I do think they have benefited from Florida's poor football of recent years. I mean just decent QB play would have won that game last year and it took another poor offensive performance and a special teams fiasco to lose at Kentucky two years ago as well. As bad as our defense was last year that game was lost by the offense. Sometimes good defense makes an offense look bad but our struggles with the QB position and overall program health has been well documented.

All kidding aside, I think it's Kentucky by 2.5.

The only time we should be looking up at Kentucky is on a map.

Are we at full strength, i.e. O and D lines? Because they have whipped our asses on the LOS last two years. If so, should tell if UT is overrated or we just play up to the competition.

Kingsley was in a boot Saturday, so don’t know whether he’ll be back or not. Would assume he’ll be less than 100% all season whether he’s playing or not.

Mazzcua was out, but I believe he was suspended for an extra half by Billy, not an injury.

Stoops can coach a D, they will play exactly like Utah and will stack against the run.

Up to Billy to come up with a game plan to throw in order to run.

He did it vs. UT by going with the Trey Wilson offense to start. He won't be able to do that again, will need to come up with something else. Hopefully he knows that if he tries 12 personnel and run it down KYs throat, he will be 3 and out.

Austin Armstrong absolutely out coached the mighty Heupel offense. Took away his screen game with unconventional sets and creating numbers. I'm confident he will do his part, questionmark is on the other side of the ball.

Please Billy, spread em out and play Etienne over Johnson. Billy Ball isn't going to work this week.

The Utah game was the best game of the season for the Gators- it was on the road; it was against a highly ranked team, and the Gators could have won the game as they were in it. That game made them ready for Kentucky. They will go into Lexington believing they win that game. kycat270 is correct in saying that the Gator team is better than a lot of you are thinking. As I said before coach is playing each game methodically to his plan. I think the Gators will win the game.

This game is going to come down to turnovers. That has been the story over the last 2 years.
