PragerU standards to be used in Florida?

I just watched one of these PragerU kids videos (from the abhorrent Candace Owens), and it's repugnant that they're trying to put this crap in our schools:


Not only does the video push right-wing politics in a children's lesson, but it also contains factual errors. She attempts to claim that white men were the first to outlaw slavery in 1833 (Britain). The actual truth is that Haiti abolished slavery in its constitution in 1805. There are other misleading and wrong claims in the video (in addition to its awful framing).

 

Looks like climate change denialism is also approved for schools…

If Prager has genders narrowed down to two I can see why soccer moms would be outraged.

 

It’s great to see that Black people in this country are not patriots. I need to thank that woman for letting us know that. I also need to thank her for letting us know that it was fine to have slaves in America because it’s been going on forever. And naturally, although she didn’t mention it, it’s been fine to have mistreated the descendants of slaves for at least another hundred years. So, now that we’ve dug a hole that’s practically impossible for many, many descendants of slaves to climb out of, we need to be color blind.
