@Gatorgal04 has there been a Pierce Coppola sighting? Haven’t seen his name in any of the reports.

I now have photographic evidence that #18 Rs So LHP Pierce Coppola was at the Tuesday 10/10 practice. I can't share it, because I'll probably be hunted down and accused of doctoring the photo (just kidding, sort of).

Quick summary I received from my Tuesday spies:

    Blue Pitchers:
    #9 Fr RHP Luke McNeillie/Milton GA - pitched 2 innings. 1 hit, 0 runs, 2 Ks and 2 Kc
#25 Fr RHP Reily Witmer/Naples - pitched 1 inning, 5 hits, 4 runs, 0 K's. Gave up the only HR of the day to #1 Dale Thomas.
    #48 Fr RHP Hunter Jones/Anthony - pitched 1 inning, 0 hits, runs, 1 Kc

    Orange Pitchers:
#13 Rs Jr RHP Ryan Slater - pitched 2 innings. 2 hits, 1 run, 2 Kc, 1 Ks
#21 Rs Fr RHP Caden McDonald - pitched 1 inning. 2 hits, 1 run, 1 Kc
#32 Fr RHP Grayson Smith - pitched 1 inning. 3 hits, 4 runs, 1 Kc

Dale Thomas was 2-2 including the only HR.
Cade Kurland was 3-3, 1 each single, double and triple.

No practice or scrimmage on Wed.
    Practice only on Thurs.
I'll probably go to the practice and scrimmage Friday afternoon. Schedule for next week not posted yet.

    And positive banter at that.
Actually I was looking for Coppola on Sunday and never saw him which had me wondering. I'm just glad at least we have a rumor about him at practice at this point.

Let's give Jaylen Guy and Mikey Robertson a chance to see if they are ready to step up, especially at the plate. Donay also might be a good alternative as well.

Peterson looked good on Saturday, Rodriguez was roughed up some. Pitchers, in general, looked good, but the hitters had a very strong day. Fisher, Peterson, Jones, Melendez, McDonald and Rodriguez got guys out on good pitches, but also gave up hits on good pitches. Jones may have been the least polished and, I think, gave up a HR, but his breaking stuff was tough. Not a junk guy like Finnvold, but very little heat thrown.

Last year, Jac looked like a giant whenever he came to bat, but this year he seems medium sized. He would be tied for third largest among the catchers. Brookins is big, too, but Jac still outhits all of them. He has been very good with opposite field singles.

Fall workouts have barely started, but the team LOOKS good. The next question is how well they play. Last year's great team had much more experience that was critical to their success. There is potential to be better at every position except whatever position Wyatt Langford played. SS will be difficult to improve, too, but the biggest worry for me is who will have hot bats. If they are comparable to the 2023 offense, 2024 will be fun.
