Just a wild guess here, but any possibility that the population gained by a percent or two, or perhaps even just one or two percent more women got pregnant? Sorry didn't mean to call them women, should have used homo-sapiens with the ability to produce an offspring. Don't want to offend anyone here.

 

How do we know exactly how many citizens and legal aliens in the country? Or on the planet? We can't know exact figures, but we can make well educated guesses. Nothing wrong with this.

 

Population growth is slowing and the population is aging. So, no, I see no evidence that is the reason from a reversal from decades of downward trend.

 

MAGA (with the help of SCOTUS) dropped baby murder down to the state level, and we see that no state has made baby murder totally illegal.

And we will be watching Pfizer and these other murmurous pharmaceutical companies very closely... more so in the near future. We The People see the murder... in all it's incarnations, and the discrimination against the unborn.

 

Your life as did mine began as a zygote separate from our mothers. And not only is the red herring weak when it comes to government assistance. But is just wrong to assume the government is the only answer to help people in need.

It is clear we protected many lives from being killing legally!

 

Legal abortions increased. So how is that clear? Are you arguing that the increase in legal abortions saved lives?

 

From a scientific and medical terminology standpoint, they aren’t “babies”. In most cases they are embryos, and the other cases fetuses.

From a legal standpoint, they aren’t murder. Even in states where they are illegal.

So “baby murder” is an incorrect at multiple levels.

 

Abortions decreased massively where we protected lives. The same would happen in the states that currently allow people to kill their innocent child if it were made illegal to do so.

 

This doesn't make sense, and I doubt this number accounts for illegal abortions either

So your argument is that while people clearly traveled from state to state to get abortions, they wouldn't travel someplace else to get abortions?

So if you traveled from Georgia to Florida to have an abortion, you saved lives because Georgia had fewer legal abortions. Very smart analysis!

We all know outlawing something totally decreases supply! Just look how effective Prohibition was! Or how effective our war on drugs has been!

Dobbs has caused women to move from a state with restrictions to a state with less or no restrictions to get an abortion. A country-wide restriction would result in more travel to places like Canada or Mexico, plus an increase in back-alley spots. Lives will not be saved, but in back-alleys, lives will be lost.
