So we know his play calling is bad as is his ability to evaluate talent.

SS knows he’s gone if Napier is fired. So SS is obviously going to protect Billy. Its going to take donors and fans to basically turn their back.

 

I’m still going to stick to my guns and say that Billy and possibly Stricklin both get canned after the UGA game.

We are just that poorly coached.

 

As the saying goes, you are as good as your record says. At this point Napier is 11-15 including this game with a pretty long losing streak going back to last year. It's not about "process" anymore. It's about coaching and getting kids ready to play. We couldn't run the ball consistently. We couldn't put consistent pressure on Ward. When we were able to get close to him, he just heaved it downfield to a receiver who was wide open. I thought our secondary was supposed to be a strength this year? Four wins may be pipe dream. Hell, two wins may be a pipe dream. I'll watch but we've become irrelevant after the first game which is so disappointing.

 

Give it to me straight, do I need to worry about Samford?
