Way off here. The NFL drafts players based on nfl projections much more so than college productions. The nfl has better coaches than college. Players train all year round. They have better everything (trainers, nutrition, etc).

players with elite measurables will always get drafted. In fact, players with elite measurables are often drafted ahead of players with incredible college careers as those players skills may not project to the nfl. The nfl draft is totally about projection. The FIRST thing nfl teams draft on is potential and they are often projects. They don’t want to draft players who have already hit their ceilings. They are looking for players who have untapped potential with huge upside.

AR being raw and inexperienced (only starting one year) will cause him to drop but his ceiling will absolutely get him drafted, and probably high.

Well then I have $10,000 that these scouts suck and I call them out now. Let me see if they can back it. I see nothing, nothing at all that suggests that AR can succeed at the next level when the defense plays faster than any offense he's ever been part of. If he has a hard time now making the read what happens when a typical NFL defense has sacked his ass, taking the ball from and scored before he's even gotten to the 2nd receiver?

I thought they were pointing to Chip Kelly, the new HBC at LSU?

So how did Chip get lumped into the conversation? Because his name ends in Kelly too?

I know what you guys are doing. You want AR gone so if he busts in the NFL at least we got rid of him. I actually think if he stayed and continue to progress, he can be really good. If he goes now, he's a used car salesman in 2024.

I know he's not that Kelly. I just reread the OP's post and I don't why he got pulled into the conversation. Brian did very well at ND but the thought was the SEC is way different and wouldn't work. So far Brian is making all of us eat lots of crow.

I wonder if the coaches should have kept that to themselves. To "rebuild" you have to first demolish the old, and that "old" means players that are already on the team.

    Ehh, Kelly schmelly.

    How far we've fallen...

It's a few hours after a loss and while I'm suffering from apathy, lethargy and low-grade depression, I remember when we were really good, in another millennium, ( it can be found in a deep space view from the Webb telescope.) if we lost back then, it was mandatory three days of mourning with teeth gnashing.

400 yards of passing and we lose to Vandy. And all we really needed was a few Qb runs early on and disciplined football.

It might be too early to tell but this NIL nonsense might be the debil. And the portal's free-agency. It's all nuts. I'm nuts.:p

Because I didn't remember who they wanted over who we got? I don't see you doing anything to answer that either so maybe you are way past your 8pm bedtime snert. Let's see if this Millennial figures this one out.
