Kresser, not Palmer. Jesse and Wuerffel didn't play on the same team.

A&M left a lot of points on the field. It could have been near 50 if they executed better.

I just said that on another thread. He needs to be fired tomorrow. Can't recruit anybody at this point, he's a lameduck coach and let the players play a little looser without Napier bringing then down. Time to eat the money and start over. There isn't another day that he should be working for the University of Florida.

I agree, it's just who takes over? Do we hire a temp coach to finish the season, or do we roll with Napier's leftovers?

Probably leftovers unfortunately. Can't see how they hire anybody else but at least it won't be Napier. Players can play looser and the coaches can compete for a job next year or someone else.

There isn't a move that can be made that can salvage this.

None of his assistants deserve to be promoted to interim HC.

Nothing short of the fantastical scenario of Meyer returning to be interim HC (will not happen, btw) could reverse this.

As much as I'd like to see him canned tomorrow, it will make no difference. I think (just my opinion) that the administration will wait until November to drop the axe.

Just curious, did anyone spot the $750k Director of Motivation Mark Hocke up in the press box eating nachos, again??

Two different games. Jesse's "drive" was the 2000 game against Tennessee, culminating in Jabar Gaffney's controversial catch.

Billy's presser demonstrated words and body language that suggests he knows the "process" is over.

I would only suggest to fellow Gators we keep it classy, he gave it a shot, it didn't work out, let's get behind the transition without throwing the guy under the bus.

It sucks, I and many others wanted him to succeed. In his defense the game of college football completely changed and evolved in ways he (and many others) were unprepared for.

Let's show some class, support the players, and trust that the decision makers use wise counsel in rebuilding a proud program back to the standard we all want it to be.

40 plus years of supporting my beloved Gator football teams… this could be the worst overall coaching staff, top to bottom. Not even close to the expectations of the winning mentality in the SEC.

I guess if someone offered to pay me $7million a year to do a job I knew I couldn't do and I had 85% of it guaranteed over 7 years, I'd take it too.

If he is fired, then yes, let's be classy and wish him well. We can focus on looking forward with hope rather than looking backwards with blame. However, if he is not fired, then sorry, I for one wont hold back.

I think we all know that. Danny graduated in 1996. Palmer arrived the following year.
