Somehow I don't feel much consolation for that after getting blown out by 32 points... We are a middle of the pack P4 program. That is reality, and it has been for 15 years.
I wouldn't call it a blow out. We actually won the 2nd half. Napier kept it respectable with the half-time adjustments. The team could have folded, but we stood valiant.
Some fans never accepted that Napier was tasked with a complete top-to-bottom rebuild. I’m on the fence about if he will succeed but I never expected to win most of the games for the first couple years. Definitely didn’t expect the schedule this year to be such a nightmare. There are signs of serious progress but would like to see the team with fewer injuries.
Oh, let me guess. You want to bring in Kiffin, who is giving UGA all they can handle right now. No thanks. This team showed a real fighting spirit in the 2nd half. Dominating Texas, on the road!!
If there was a better program out there, we wouldn't have this distinction. Today, Napier extended the streak in a hostile environment against a Top 5 opponent, with his 3rd string QB.
I think we could have been in the game with some of our starters back. Still ya gotta win or at least show up. Not acceptable but with our schedule there is still a chance to prove something. Apparently some on here don't allow for that possibility. Don't know why they bother to watch.
Of course, Napier did. He is the best up and coming coach in the SEC. Some people act like Lane Kiffin is going to fix things. Just because he's up 10-7 on UGA with his backup QB doesn't mean he could do that here. It's much easier to beat Georgia in Oxford than it is in Jacksonville.
For the record, I'm for firing Billy. I think Kiffen is better fit for us but if we keep Billy there is a small chance it will work out. Im not gonna whine every game about how unacceptable it is Lets see how we play next week and the next. Hope the whiners just give up and stop watching (and posting).
