Post game thread Gators vs Kaintuck

I’ve said many, many times I want the Gators to whip everyone every game. I don’t care who the HbC is.

Fans should be behind the team, that doesn’t mean ignore glaring issues with a HBC or other coach.

The team is playing much better on D the last two weeks, O was better this week at finishing drives.
See how the season shakes out, I don’t just mean wins and loses. How the games go down matter to me.

There are still some head scratching calls that shouldn’t be happening year 3.

FWIW I wasn’t on board with canning him after the TAAM game like some were.

 

Was it just a bad kick or did the coaches call for him to kick it short. I rarely see fielded KO nowadays.

 

It's funny. People I recognize or know who are negative or do things I don't like get more leeway with me. But if a random does drive by bacons, come on mans, and optimistics on me, I block them. I don't even give them the benefit of the doubt. I like dealing with people know how to exercise restraint on the negative ratings buttons, but there are some guys who give me bacon all the time that I let rock.

 

Funny I’ve never blocked anyone.

I rarely tops the Bacon(seems to strong for me), usually it’s a come on man.

If some gives me bacon I’d expect some sort of rebuttal.

I may change my mind or learn something!

Not sure. Can’t imagine kickers these days having a bad kick on kickoff. Ball is on tee, no rush, their leg strength is so good. Sometimes it looks like the kickoff team just wants to go hit someone, so they kick it short inside the 5. I’d say thats fine, depending on who is the return guy is.

Don't worry about it. Whenever I am missing something, I want someone to tell me.

There's nothing necessarily wrong with that guy, I just don't know anything about him and so he's not one we recognize as being postable.

I'll leave it all up so folks aren't confused and I don't have to go back and delete 4-5-6 of our posts.

The OL rotation, particularly RT (first depth chart raised a lot of eyebrows, justifiably) and at Safety (specifically a player that has gotten 1 snap in the past 2 games). Saturday the LT, C, RT took every snap until the backups came in on final drive.

Are you really ever behind with the transfer portal? FSU had a great class last year. What has that translated to? Michigan, Alabama? Recruiting on the HS level does not measure the future direction of a program by itself anymore.

With the transfer portal and NIL, a team can not even be top 25 in recruiting HS talent and become a major contender from the talent it brings in from the portal.

So you can’t measure recruiting until you factor in transfers.

 

The transfer portal is fine for filling a specific need here and there but building a whole roster around it is a huge mistake case in point being FSU’s fall from grace. So, yes, recruiting classes are still critical.

 

If bullet points were sentences we might actually have some journalism occurring. Remember journalism? It's when journalists gathered data and explained it to the masses.
